The ICSWF is proud to announce that we will be implementing Video Check for the first time during the UK National Static Championship. This innovative technology has been successfully tested earlier in the Netherlands and Belgium, where it contributed to a fairer and more transparent assessment of performances.
Video Check is a quality label indicating that the event meets strict standards for accuracy and transparency. As the sport grows and develops, the complexity of officiating increases. The recognizable symbol shows that key moments are judged correctly, which is especially important given the sport’s fast and unpredictable nature. The label ensures reliable, consistent, and transparent judging, while effectively supporting the officials in their role. Vincent Verhoef, representing ICSWF, will introduce and support the Video Check system during this prestigious event. The goal is to further develop the system and enable England to independently adopt this standard, elevating the quality and fairness of judging to a higher level.
Video Check offers, among other features:
- ️Live broadcasting: Athletes, judges, and spectators can follow the action in real-time.
- ️Real-time playback: Judges can analyze performances immediately.
- ️Recording: All footage is recorded instantly and is unlimited in duration.
